Position Title: Subject Matter Specialist (Livelihoods)
Number of Vacancies: 1
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Generate awareness and mobilize women farmers for promotion and formation of Producer Groups (PG) in the Agriculture Production Cluster (APC) approach
• Support in establishing systems and processes for strengthening economic institutions like PG & Farmer Producer Company (FPC)
• Facilitate and develop systems for regular PG meetings, FPC board meetings, statutory compliance, and governance procedures
• Build linkages with stakeholders relevant to the APC ecosystem
• Ensure achievement of farm productivity standards
• Set up systems for input procurement/distribution, output aggregation, and train farmers on primary processing (grading, sorting, packaging)
• Ensure input and output market linkages through FPC, including linkage with minimum support price and insurance programs
• Set up processing units and farm produce value-addition units
• Participate in and present progress at relevant forums
• Groom community and carders around APC and livelihood activities
• Any other responsibilities relevant to the APC project as required by the team

Eligibility Criteria:

• Graduation in any field with at least 2 years of experience in market linkage and governance of producer companies OR
• Fresher with a Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agri-business Management, or a relevant field

Skills and Competencies:

• Good communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of Tally
• Minimum understanding of the Companies Act
• Community mobilization
• Vendor dealing and building relationships with stakeholders for FPC growth
• Management skills for FPCs

Location: Jaykaypur (Rayagada), Odisha
Proposed Salary Range: INR 25,000–30,000 per month (CTC, based on experience and qualification, as per PRADAN pay structure)
Nature of Job: One-year fixed-term contract, extendable based on performance and project continuity
