Programme Coordinator:
LEPRA Society is a Pan-India health and development organization working for the people affected by Leprosy and other neglected diseases to transform their lives and overcome poverty, discrimination and disability. LEPRA endeavors to diagnose, facilitate treatment to those affected and help them to rehabilitate into the mainstream of the society. LEPRA works in collaborations with the Government and other funding agencies to reach into most inaccessible villages of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Bihar, Delhi, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh states.

The position is for immediate employment

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure that LEPRA’s policy and strategy is implemented within the programme operations in Odisha state.
• Identify and introduce new strategic choices for achieving optimum results
• Support in the micro project under the respective project to develop monthly implementation plans, review the same on a monthly basis and improve the same.
• Plan and suggest strategy for improving present and future programme delivery.
• Identify, plan and implement fund raising initiatives/opportunities in the state of Odisha in line with LEPRA’s vision and mission.
• Develop linkages with donors, stake-holders; NGOs and government district health department to improve opportunities for sustainable response.
• Promote and maintain effective public relations with governmental and community agencies and individuals.
• Ensure effective communication with the programme staff and Head Office in all operational/financial/administrative matters.
• Represent LEPRA at State level coordination and programme review meeting.
• Handle data management of dynamic data sets- ensuring correctness, completeness and timelines of Data shared by the project teams
• Data collation and cleaning followed by generating monthly reports and updates for the project
• Support and Coordinate with field teams and project officers of the projects for smooth data flow
• Data entry of surveys, research studies or any other type of information collected and conducted by the field staff/ any other outsourced organization
• Ensure completeness, correctness of base records and supporting documents and their proper maintenance.
• Support data verification, validation through field visits and ensure updated project data information.
• Assist State Co-ordinator in carrying out timely corrective measures based on the MIS reports and in sharing the project data with HO.
• Responsible for maintenance of MIS and compliance of all reports as per donor & LEPRA Head Office requirements.
• Undertake periodic data analysis and to facilitate the programme planning to bridge the gaps
• Provide feedback to the field staff on submitted reports and MIS issues.
• Support the State co-ordinator in various documentations especially case studies, meeting reports and other records as required by the State Co-ordinator and HO.
• Capacity building of field staff on data collection tools through methodologies best suited to them.
• Participate and contribute in the monthly meetings and coordination meetings with the project staff and other stakeholders.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all information.
• Any other tasks assigned by Line Manager

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Post Graduate in Statistics or related subject with specialization in Demography / Bio-statistics / Operations Research/ Sampling/ MSW or related Social Sciences with sound knowledge of analysis
• Advance degree/diploma or a post graduate course in Computers.
• Good leadership skills to lead project team.
• Excellent project implementation skills; ability to achieve project deliverables as per project objectives.
• Minimum 2 -3 years’ experience of working in a field of monitoring of projects preferably in the field of health or social development/handling data and analysis and working on computerized databases and analysis software.
